The First Class Driver

Questions

Everything, answered.

Costs, cruise-port logistics, booking windows and what to expect — the questions travelers ask most about private transportation in Anchorage and Alaska.

Who will be driving me?

A professional chauffeur from our carefully selected team. Your chauffeur reaches out before your trip to introduce themselves and confirm your itinerary, so you know exactly who is picking you up and what to expect — clean, professional and dependable, every time.

Do you have child seats?

Yes. Infant and toddler seats are available on request — tell us the ages when you reserve and the seats will be installed before pickup.

Do you drive to Fairbanks or Denali?

We do. We run the entire road system — Denali, Fairbanks, Homer and Valdez — and reach anywhere in Alaska the roads go. Ask for a quote on any destination.

Are you available at 3 AM?

Yes. We operate 24/7, so late-night airport pickups and early cruise transfers are routine — with flight monitoring throughout and no after-hours surcharge.

Can you handle luggage, skis and gear?

Yes. An optional cargo trailer is available on request (additional charge applies) so the cabin stays comfortable for everyone aboard, with room for luggage, skis and boards.

Can you stock food and drinks?

Complimentary bottled water is in every vehicle, and premium food and beverage can be stocked on request — just let us know when you reserve.

Which Alaska cruise terminals do you serve?

We provide private door-to-port transfers to the Seward, Whittier and Homer cruise terminals, with every bag handled from your door to the ship.

How much does a private car from Anchorage to Seward cost?

A private Black SUV transfer from Anchorage to the Seward cruise terminal is a flat $1,150 for up to six passengers, with the 18% gratuity included. A 3% card processing fee applies; the Sprinter Van (up to 11) is quoted separately.

How much is a transfer from Anchorage to Whittier?

Anchorage to the Whittier cruise port is a flat $690 for up to six passengers (gratuity included), plus the $13 Anton Anderson Tunnel toll for the Black SUV ($38 for the Sprinter Van, or $27 with a cargo trailer). The 60-mile drive takes about an hour and a half.

Is a private driver worth it in Alaska?

For cruise days, airport arrivals and Denali or Kenai trips, yes — a private chauffeur leaves on your schedule, handles luggage door to door, monitors flights, and turns scenic drives like Turnagain Arm into the experience rather than the chore.

How far in advance should I book Alaska private transportation?

Three to six months ahead for summer cruise season (May–September). Our fleet is intentionally curated, so cruise-day and Denali slots fill early. Off-season and short-notice requests are welcome when we have availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

All transfers follow the same policy: reservations canceled within 10 days of service are non-refundable. Payment is due in full at the time of booking.

Which Alaska cruise terminals do you serve?

Private door-to-port transfers to the Seward, Whittier and Homer cruise terminals, plus post-cruise returns to Anchorage or the airport.
