How do I get to Denali from Anchorage without a tour bus?
Hire a private chauffeur. We drive you the 240 miles to Denali on your schedule, stopping where you like — Talkeetna for flightseeing and Denali views, scenic pullouts along the Parks Highway — with the comfort of a luxury SUV the whole way.
What does a private Denali trip cost?
From $1,840 for up to six passengers, gratuity included. Multi-day Denali itineraries — including overnight stays where your chauffeur stays nearby — are quoted to your plan, with a modest per-diem for overnights.
Can you build a multi-day Alaska itinerary?
Yes. Clients keep us as their private driver for days at a time — Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, Seward and Homer on one trip. You get the same chauffeur, the same vehicle, and a plan built around what you want to see.
Common questions
Is Denali a day trip or overnight from Anchorage?
It can be either. A long day trip is possible; many guests prefer an overnight in Talkeetna or the park area, which we build into the itinerary.
Will we stop in Talkeetna?
Yes, on request — Talkeetna is the classic stop for Denali views and flightseeing, about two hours north of Anchorage.
Can you get us to the park entrance and the shuttle?
Yes. We drop you at the Denali National Park entrance, where the park's shuttle and tour buses continue up the park road, or at your lodge in the Canyon. Denali only shows on a clear day, so we time the drive for the best chance of a mountain view.
